.... I love this quote.
Aya Kitou suffered from a rare disease in which she slowly lost control over her body. She died at age 25.
First she couldn't walk. Then she would choke if she ate too fast. Eventually she became bedridden and couldn't even talk. Surprisingly, ever since she was diagnosed, she kept a diary that she wrote in until she could no longer hold a pen.

When she died, her family published her diary. The title is 1 リットルの涙(1 Rittoru no Namida), or 1 Litre of Tears.
I'm sure many of you have heard of the drama... right? It was also a movie.

I watched the drama about a year ago, and it was really sad! Its definatly worth watching, seriously.

I've been trying to read her diary in its origional Japanese text, but kanji is so hard! I gave up and settled for an online translation...
